DEATH AND FUNERAL NOTICE
Mr. Onesmo Kahatano (48) passed away in Dar es Salaam on the 5th June 2020 after a short illness. Onesmo was a Procurement Officer with the SACIDS Foundation for One Health at Sokoine University of Agriculture since April 2006. He was a holder of a Master of Business Administration of the Mzumbe University (2004) and Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management of the Institute of Finance Management (2001). Onesmo will be remembered for his hard working spirit, collegial nature and immense contribution to the growth of the SACIDS Foundation for One Health.
Before joining SACIDS, Onesmo worked with the National Bureau of Statistics from 1994-1996 and Tanzania Cigarette Company (1997-1998).
Funeral will take place in Kagondo, Bukoba, Tanzania on 09 June 2020.
He is survived by his wife Evelina Gerald Diminoff and children Ivanna Onesmo Kahatano (3 years) and Brightness Onesmo Kahatano (1 year).
A dear friend, Onesmo will be sorely missed by his colleagues at SACIDS and many throughout Tanzania and beyond.
May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.
