From Editors’ desk Dear reader,

Welcome to Volume 2, Number 4 of TechnoHealth Surveillance. Tanzania has prioritized diseases transmissible between animals and humans, which are presented in this issue.

Kindly find in this issue, reflections from the meeting between the Ministry of Health Community Development Gender Elderly and Children, and Southern African Centre for Infectious Disease Surveillance to strengthen public health surveillance system in Tanzania.

SACIDS has explored behavioral risk practices for anthrax in Ngorongoro, which are highlighted in this issue. We highlight in this issue the environmental hazards for cholera outbreak which have been reported by community health reporters.
