Tebogo Kgotlele

Ms Tebogo Kgotlele is the Southern African Centre for Infectious Disease Surveillance (SACIDS) PhD candidate on Peste des Petits Ruminants disease with co-funding from the Swedish Research Council registered at Sokoine University of Agriculture.

Ms Kgotlele holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Biology and Environmental Sciences) from the University of Botswana and a Master’s of Science Degree in One Health Molecular Biology from Sokoine University of Agriculture. Ms Kgotlele works at Botswana National Veterinary Laboratory as a Senior Scientific Officer. She has vast experience in laboratory diagnosis of transboundary animal diseases using molecular tools such as Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP), Rift Valley Fever, Avian Influenza, Newcastle Disease and African Swine Fever.
